RUDE SURPRISES by Rude Polaroids arrives in a sealed envelope. Each envelope contains original Polaroids of gay sex—unrepeatable, unedited, and alive with the heat of the moment. It draws back to a time when gay photographs were clandestine, passed between lovers or friends in secret, tucked into dresser drawers or slipped discreetly through the mail. RUDE SURPRISES reimagines that quiet exchange, folding risk, desire, and intimacy into the act of looking.
